DO YOU HAVE AN ORDER MINIMUM?
Yes, we have a $1500 order minimum for orders in the Greater Boston area, and $2500 in the Greater New England area. See our map further down below in delivery details. We do allow Will Call pickup for orders starting at $350 but this is only for textiles and accessory rental inventory.
HOW DO I RENT ITEMS FROM KADEEMA RENTALS? WHAT’S THE QUICKEST WAY TO GET A QUOTE?
Quickest way is to go to our website, head to the Rentals tab and search through the various categories of rentals for the items you are interested in. Once you find pieces that you love, you can click on the “plus/cross” symbol next to that item and a pop-up will appear that will allow you to put in your event or rental time period information, location, etc. From there you can continue to add as many items to your wishlist as possible. Once you’ve completed adding amazing items, you can click on the plus sign in the lower right corner of your screen and it will direct you to send your wishlist over to us. We will then include damage, cleaning, and delivery and pickup fees and send you a fully comprehensive quote. If you’ve worked with us before, you’re also welcome to email us a list of items directly. If you’re having trouble piecing together pieces you can also send us an email and for an additional design fee we can suggest items based on your color scheme, style, and furniture needs.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK FOR MY EVENT?
As a rule of thumb, we suggest up to a year in advance of the event to book their rentals and no later than three months especially if it’s during peak wedding season. If rentals are used for other purposes such as long term home rentals, movie sets, photo shoots, etc. these can be rented closer to the date needed but will be subject to availability.
AM I ABLE TO CHANGE AN ORDER ONCE I RESERVE ITEMS?
Absolutely! You’re able to make changes up until the week of your event or rental time period at no additional charge. You are always able to add on items and are allowed to remove items from your order up to 75% of your original contract amount.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEE THE ITEMS IN PERSON BEFORE I PLACE AN ORDER?
It definitely is. We have specific day and times appointments can be made, usually on Monday and Tuesdays of each week with special requests for weekend dates. We usually request you first put together a wishlist of items so we’re able to have them pulled in our showroom location for you to review. Otherwise, for select individuals we can do warehouse tours to show all items at an additional fee. If you’re interested in seeing the pieces together and cannot make the days we’re available by appointment, you can also request a digital furniture collage showing the pieces together at an additional design fee.
WHERE IS YOUR PHYSICAL OFFICE?
Our showroom is located at 75 West Street, Suite 1, Walpole, MA 02081. Our warehouse building is just down the street about 10 minutes.
I KNOW I WANT TO RENT AN ITEM FROM YOU BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT MIGHT LOOK GOOD WITH IT. CAN YOU HELP?
Yes, we can certainly help. You can always send us inspiration images, color palette, furniture requirements, budget and any specific pieces you see from our collection that you’re in love with. From there, we can put together a proposal with a furniture collage of options we’ve designed for you, but it is an additional design fee.
WHAT ARE YOUR SAFETY AND SANITATION PROCEDURES?
We make sure and clean all hard surfaces with antibacterial wipes and vacuum any soft furniture pieces before and after all events. We also have our teams wear masks due at any city, state, venue, or client guidelines as requested when delivering and picking up from a site.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
After reviewing the quote, you will see an option where you can review and sign the contract. Upon signing the contract with us, you will see another page where you are able to make a payment by card or ACH payment. Clients are also able to send checks to Kadeema (Mailing address: 75 West Street, Suite 1, Walpole, MA 02081) or can pay by Venmo @Kadeemarentals. If rentals are booked within 30 days the total order amount will need to be paid in full. If beyond 30 days, we request a 50% non-refundable deposit and the remaining balance will be due 30 days before the event or rental period.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMER PICK-UP?
We do offer Will Call for limited items with a lowered minimum order fee of $350. Items include smaller accessories like lanterns, LED candles, pillows, and rugs. Our larger items are not able to be picked up by clients due to insurance liabilities if items were to be damaged in transit.
WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE RENTAL?
Pricing includes a full 24 hour rental for events. We do not additionally charge if delivery happens the day before and pickup the day after. Anything beyond a day before or day after additional fees will apply. Long term rentals are prorated at a discounted rate.
DO YOU OFFER PACKAGE DEALS?
We have come out with new packages in 2022 with a for easy shopping of our most popular setups. Otherwise, all lounges are custom and unique creations by clients or ourselves.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
To ensure availability of all services and products, deposits are non-refundable. You may remove one or more item(s) from your order, or cancel your entire order, according to the following schedule, but the following cancellation fees will apply, subject to any category-specific cancellation policies:
61 days prior: no cancellation fee, non-refundable deposit is retained but transferable to new date 1 year from original contract date
60 days prior: 75% of contract total, less non-refundable deposit
30 days prior: 100% of contract total
Days prior refers to the number of days before the earliest delivery/pickup/setup/arrival time.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR LATE-NIGHT OR EARLY MORNING PICK-UPS?
We are able to accommodate late night or early morning pickups as long as we still have availability on that specific date.
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
We are able to deliver to Boston, Cape and Islands as well as the entire state of Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and parts of Connecticut and New York.
DO YOU REQUIRE A RENTAL MINIMUM FOR DELIVERY?
We require a minimum order of $1500 for Greater Boston areas (North Shore, South Shore, Mid Mass, partial Cape). Anything beyond those areas starting in 2022 we will require a $2500 minimum for areas outside of the above stated areas.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DELIVERY FEE?
Included in the delivery fee is the delivery to the site or event location, installation if specified in advance by a site or floor plan or there is an on site coordinator to direct our team. Pickup fee is broken out on a separate line but will be picked up at the time specified.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT DELIVERY?
Similar to our minimum order maps, delivery will be in 2 hour time windows for Greater Boston areas while it will extend to 4 hour delivery windows starting in 2022 for areas outside of the stated areas. If a specific time is needed for delivery this will be an additional charge.
CAN I KEEP MY RENTALS OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT?
Rentals are able to be located outside during the time window of the event as long as weather permits. The Kadeema team members that deliver the day of will coordinate with individuals on site to confirm whether a rain plan will need to be implemented and do have the right to pull pieces if they think will be damaged by weather. At the conclusion of the event, rentals will either need to be pulled inside, under a tent protected, or covered with tarps and blankets. The Damage waiver does not cover upholstered furniture that gets wet.
DO YOU HAVE A DAMAGE WAIVER?
We do have a damage waiver to cover the normal wear and tear as stated above. This is 6% of the subtotal of the products listed on your quote or invoice. We also include a small cleaning fee to make sure all pieces are being properly cleaned before and after the events or rental time period.
WHAT IF I STAIN OR BREAK PIECES I'VE RENTED?
The damage waiver covers normal wear and tear that happens when renting items for an event with large groups of people. That being said, any furniture piece that is stained and not able to be cleaned and/or a piece gets broken will be charged the full original cost of the item. This luckily has only happened a handful of times but we do need to state it just in case!
