The Newburyport Studio Space and Kadeema Rentals
Kristen, the founder of Kadeema, and Kelsy, the founder of The Newburyport Studio, collaborated to establish a partnership for studio rentals in January to host The Newburyport Studio’s Plume event that has been extended through April of 2024. This collaboration became a source of inspiration for many photographers who used the popular space at The Stateroom for a range of creative photo shoots, including capturing dancers, headshots, maternity, and creatives looking to explore new and innovative concepts for 2024. We have partnered with The Newburyport Studio to celebrate women in small businesses and foster a community of empowering artists by providing transitional set pieces for their use. In light of Women’s History Month, we celebrate the fantastic work of local photographers and take pride in the beautiful partnership we have created, which inspires women and supports the local New England community of photographers and creators through our sponsored rentals.

Tell us about your experience with Kadeema Rentals?
Our experience with Kadeema Rentals has been wonderful. Correspondence throughout the selection process of over 30 items to curate our space above and beyond met our expectations. Luxurious, high end, quality furniture that left us speechless. Delivery was seamless, and very accommodating!
What were your favorite Kadeema Rental items from the Plume event?
Our favorite Kadeema Rental Items for the Plume Event are hands down the Victorian arm chairs and matching ivory sofa! The set is timeless and elegant. It photographs beautifully and offers such a romantic element to our space!

Dampolo Photography is a husband-wife duo. Rachel manages photography, and Jesse, videography. They specialize in portraits, including engagement, maternity, family, newborn, branding, etc. They take a natural approach to capture true moments that narrate your story.

I feel as though if we focus on being “connectors” rather than “climbers”, meaning we help make valuable connections rather than just fighting our way to the top… then we’ll all benefit. Tell us about your experience with Kadeema Rentals?
These pieces pair perfectly with Kelsy’s Plume setup. The space is white, bright, and has a boho feel with a touch of elegance and class. The neutral tones are soft and delicate and add a nice vintage feel to the space.
What were your favorite Kadeema Rental items from the past Plume shoot at The Newburyport Studio?
I’d have to say my favorite piece is the ivory sofa. It’s the stuff that vintage dreams are made of. I think that, paired with the arm chairs in the corner with Kelsy’s dried arrangement is all simply stunning.
